Ahhh… the tranquility of this snow-covered backyard. It’s not a view my parents are used to seeing from their home in Southwest Louisiana. As the frigid weather swept through the Southern states it was fun for some while severe and disruptive for others. Then there’s the devastating fires that swept through Southern California, destroying most in it’s path and sparing a few. Plus the tornadoes, floods, and landslides that many have experienced. Thanks for reading - Roy.” If you’re wondering what Audio Description is, it’s when actors voice the visuals in TV shows and movies to enhance the viewing for blind and low-vision audiences. Roy is an expert at this. He’s the founder of ADNA, winner of the Audio Description Achievement Award in 2021, and is recognized for his profound contributions to accessible entertainment. |

For those of you who try to fit into a stereotypical box, just know that you don’t have to.
